"When I'm older."

Keegan asked Daddy where he was going this morning as he was headed out the door.  "I'm going to work."  Keegan responded, "Can I come too?"  Daddy replied, "Okay, sometime I will take you to work."  Keegan thought for just a minute then added, "When I'm older."  I continue to be amazed.

"Shake it up!"

So, we are out of milk.  Which is NOT okay in the Barry home, since Keegan drinks about a gallon every 4 days.  I always have a back-up, because moms know what sort of chaos will ensue if there is no back-up.  So I scooped the powered milk into Keegan's cup this morning and made the mistake of shaking it myself. Keegan immediately started in with, "I shake it!!"  Then, of course, when I let him take over the shaking task, he refused.  One wrong move on my part means at least a half hour of fits.  And this, as you might imagine at age 2 1/2, is not an unusual occurrence.  I still love you big bunches, my little milk monster!
