Playdough
Playdough is one of Keegan's favorite activities these days. It's the only thing, besides watching Barney and playing with his tools, that will keep him independently entertained for longer than 15 minutes. He makes snakes, and balls, and snowmen--not sure why snowmen, since we haven't had any snow all winter. If Mommy makes something, he admires it for a whole of 20 seconds then crushes it. I recently found some playdough toys, so he can now cut with scissors, push and squeeze the dough, and make shapes.
Good Night-Night
I used to always ask Keegan if he had a good rest when he woke in the morning or after his nap. He would shake his head "yes" and say, "uh, huh". Now, before I can say anything, he says, "I had good night-night". He will sometimes even ask one of his little stuffed buddies, "good night, Elmo?", as he takes him into his arms for a big hug. Elmo is one of his favorites; sometimes Keegan will even let Elmo brush his teeth!
